What is the youth camp?

Colorado Elks Association intends to develop a long-term camp program emphasizing the continued growth in the relationships between our communities and our Local Elks Lodges. The core mission of the project is to offer character building avenues for campers aged 9 to 19 years old. The  Colorado Elks are committed to the virtues of:

  • (F)riendship – the awareness that family and friends together are an important part of everyone’s life and happiness.
  • (U)nderstanding -  the awareness of other people's feelings; tolerance and forgiveness.
  • (N)ature - the physical awareness of your surroundings, including plants, animals, the landscape, and other features and products of the earth, as opposed to humans or human creations.

Programs and activities will be planned to provide a fun-filled experience and enhance the campers' love of family, friends and the outdoors, all supervised by qualified staff members.

Will my Lodge have to pay for the camp?

NO.

Will the camp replace LARADON or Clem and Evelyn Audin as a state major project?
