Littleton Elks hosts Cub Scout Pack 443 Pinewood Derby

Cub Scout Pack 443 is one of 5 Scouting units that the Littleton Elks supports.

Pack 443 is a unit based out of Littleton Prep Charter School. They currently have approximtely 25 boys from Kindergarten though 5th grade. This is the third year that the Lodge has hosted the Pack’s Pinewood Derby. This year they had a great derby with assistance from the boys of Boy Scout Troop 444 . The winners will be moving on to the next level of competition at the District Level.

The Pinewood Derby is a racing event for Cub Scouts in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Cub Scouts, with the help of parents, build their own cars from wood, usually from kits containing a block of pine, plastic wheels, and metal axles.

Littleton Elks 2017 TLC Meals on Wheels Check Presentation

Littleton Elks #1650 was proud to present TLC Meals on Wheels with a donation of $5,410.35. The money was raised at the Elks 9th Annual Custom Car Show held at the Lodge on August 13 and through Lodge Bingo nights. The car show is one of the highlights of Littleton’s Western Welcome Week celebration. This year’s show attracted over 200 exhibitors with cars, trucks, motorcycles, and muscle cars, and over 700 spectators. The contributions from the car enthusiasts and the Lodge will provide meals to four (4) seniors for over a year. Thank you to Co-Chairs John & Val Dettmer and Ken Wilson, their wonderful committee, and volunteers who helped make this a fantastic event! View the album on the Elks Facebook page.
